Osilasi

The Brussels duo Osilasi shows how this can be combined in a traditional-experimental manner. Léa Roger and Célia Jankowski combine the instruments: voice, harp, hurdy-gurdy and percussion in half-improvised, half-composed live sets. Spherical sound experiments are created that occasionally borrow from new traditional French music. The two stand in a longer tradition of the French experimental music scene, which updates traditional music and instruments in experimental musical formations.
