Quasai

Quasai is the solo project of sonic artist and musician Francesco Fonassi (Spettro/Villa Recordings/Canti Magnetici/Les Giants). Along 15 years Francesco have been active in the sphere of sonic arts with sparse electronic, acusmatic and environmental compositions, experimental radio projects, performances, sound field researches and collaborative music releases (with Chorus Abstracta, Interlingua, Fonassi/Salogni duo, FreakyFairyFluxFoundation and recent duo Late Ninja).

His first solo LP was released on Les Giants in 2024. Dealing with analog synthesizers, tape manipulations and acoustic instruments within a feral yet complex approach to mixing and dubbing, Quasai‘s live act brings the audience into a remote, cubistic entanglement aiming for a form of discrete hypno-magnetism.
